Aromatherapy massage at al Covo uses pure Neals Yard Remedies' organic essential oils, made from plants, that have been tested to improve or reduce particular conditions. They are individually blended with a carrier oil by Steve, following a personal holistic consultation. Many conditions can be treated, including stress, indigestion, insomnia, respiratory issues, pain, overworked muscles, MS, ME, infections, allergies, skin problems, confidence, gland and immune system disorders, immune system boosts, warmth, detoxification, stiffness, neurological diseases, mental health, sleep, respiratory and stomach conditions. Essential oils have been used historically as herbal remedies for many years and often form the key active ingredients of man-made branded pharmaceuticals and ointments.
al Covo's wide range of organic oils include CBD oil (cannabidiol oil at 500mg, 1000mg and 2000mg strength), lavender, lemon, clove, palmarosa, rosemary, geranium, peppermint, cypress, eucalyptus, thyme, grapefruit, teatree, mandarin, ginger, chamomile, ylang ylang, plus many more. Your skin absorbs the oils applied during a massage. Together we choose the oils that are best suited to your needs during the consultation. For example, a hydrating blend could include Frankincense, Black Pepper, Orange, Sandalwood and Pomegranate, a detoxifying blend could mix Black Pepper, Fennel, Juniper, Eucalyptus and Pomegranate, and an exotic blend could mix Ginger, Fennel, Vetiver, and Clove and would take you off to paradise.
Massage Oil Blends, Essential Oils and Base Oils are also available to buy. If you'd like a consultation for which essential oils to purchase and how to use them, please book in for an Organic Oils for Health Consultation. I also offer Professional Aromatherapy courses, one course for using pre-blended oils, and another for making oil blends, for professional practice.
The appropriate treatment time will depend on the areas of the body to be treated. Please contact Steve on 02380639913 for a quick consultation if you wish to discuss anything before your appointment.
