The basis of aromatherapy is the use of essential oils, and their ability to be absorbed into the blood stream through the skin or respiratory system. These oils initiate chemical changes through their reactions with hormones and enzymes, affecting both body and mind.

The course is completed entirely online in your own time. This means that GTi gives you flexible learning designed to fit in around your lifestyle. Full tutorial support is available throughout your learning experience.
The GTi Aromatherpy course describes all the characteristics of the essential and carrier oils as well as describing how you can incorporate aromatherapy into your massage treatments.
The course also covers the history and theories behind the treatment as well as reception and consultation and how to recognise any contra-indications to treatment.
The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images and a voiceover to give you the best possible learning experience.
The GTi Aromatherapy course includes the GTi Professional Standards course, for all students who have yet to complete this course.
