THREADING, TRIMMING and TIDYING
Threading is an ancient Eastern tradition for hair removal and is most commonly
used for eyebrow thinning and shaping. Cotton thread cuts hair in a straight
line across the skin surface. It is ideal for small areas and for sensitive
skin, is less painful than
waxing, causes less skin irritation, and regrowth time is about the same. It
removes hair by the root and can have the same side-effects as waxing (see
FAQs).
Clippering (a form of shaving) is great for large areas of hair removal for men.
It is quick, safe, cheaper and less painful than waxing. However growth
comes back much quicker than waxing, appears more dense, and is usually more
itchy. Clipppering cuts the hair at the skin surface only.
Trimming and tidying can also be achieved using scissors and plucking stray and
stubborn hairs with tweezers.
All types of hair removal can be combined
together, with waxing for ladies, or male waxing
for your best look and feel.
What I like about al Covo is no salon frontage, and the
