GUIDED STRETCHING PROGRAMMES
Stretching is often an overlooked and misguided exercise activity. Stretching
reduces the risk of injury, warms the muscles for activity, increases relaxation
after exercise, and improves flexibility. Give yourself an extra dimension to
your fitness by improving your flexibility in the correct manner. As we
get older, flexibility in the body decreases, and stretching is not taught well
at an early age at schools, so people are generally not aware of what good
stretching is, when, how, and how often to do it.
A 1-on-1 stretching programme at al Covo will:
- Assess your posture, mobility, and flexibility
- Agree outcomes from your sessions
- Demonstrate a set of stretches specifically for you
- Give you feedback as you try them
- Provide you with key points for better stretching
- Provide you with home or gym activities between treatments
I've been concerned about my posture since being tall as a child
and thought it's about time I did something about it. Combined with remedial
massage, this programme has changed the way I hold myself and think about
posture in everyday life.
